Understanding The Church
Upon This Rock I Will Build My Church
The Church is rapidly dying, and much of the clergy in recent times have been doing it more harm than good. People are fleeing from the Churches as they seek a religious perspective that fits a modern worldview. Should we revive this old Church and try to save it from its own demise? What exactly is "The Church", and who or which of the many religions is the official caretaker of it?
The Christian religions of the world have done their fair share of damage to themselves and to the world, but in the bigger picture, they have done more good than damage. Saving the Church is probably worth our collective efforts because the Churches are perhaps the most charitable group of organizations that existed throughout history and even up to today.
The main reason that the Churches are in the rough condition that they are today is due to a lack of understanding by clergy and congregation. We can overcome this dark era of the Church and revive it only through
